Wolves have been busy so far this transfer window, with seven players coming into the club so far.
Statement signings like Kieran Trippier and Jordan James have excited fans whilst the return of former heroes Raúl Jiménez and John Ruddy have added to that feel-good factor.
However, parts of the fanbase still feel Wolves need more players in through the door – a centre back, a winger and a striker being the main priority positions.
With that in mind, Transfer News Blitz’s Will Jones looks into which players could fulfil these roles.
A new option out wide?
One of the names attracting attention is Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry.
The 21-year-old has entered his final two years of his Brighton contract and is expected to sign an extension before going out on loan.
Wolves are among a number of clubs reportedly interested. Recent reports suggest that the Championship is a likely destination for the winger, with Wolves one of the several reported sides in the race, as well as Rangers, West Ham, Schalke and Wolfsburg.
Rangers had a £7.5m bid rejected, with Brighton reportedly wanting £10m for the winger’s services.
Cozier-Duberry would offer Wolves something they have arguably lacked in sufficient quantity: another natural wide player capable of providing pace and attacking threat.
The former Arsenal youth prospect enjoyed a breakthrough campaign on loan at League One side Bolton Wanderers last season, getting eight goals and ten assists for the Trotters.
For a side targeting an immediate return to the Premier League, having different ways of breaking down Championship defences could prove crucial.
A winger who can stretch the pitch and attack defenders one-on-one would give César Peixoto another option when games become difficult to unlock.
The question is whether Wolves should make a winger their top priority.

Simms could provide the goals
Another attacker the old gold have been linked with is Ellis Simms.
Wolves’ interest in the Coventry City striker has been reported previously, with renewed speculation surrounding a potential move this summer.
Simms would represent a different type of option in attack and could provide valuable competition for Wolves’ existing forwards.
The need for another striker is particularly interesting following Jiménez’s emotional return.
The Mexican marked his comeback against Blackburn Rovers by scoring a stoppage-time penalty in Wolves’ opening Championship game, but relying on one experienced forward over a long and demanding campaign would carry its own risks.
Also, with an ageing Jiménez likely to suffer injuries over the course of a 46-game season, that means there’s a lack of cover if Adam Armstrong were also to pick up a knock, for example.
Simms enjoyed 13 Championship goals for a title-winning Coventry City side last season – despite only starting 15 league games.
This move could be a chance for the 6ft 3in forward to kickstart his career again, after warming the bench for the Sky Blues last season.
Wolves need goals if they are serious about promotion, and adding another proven option could help spread the responsibility across the squad.

Defence still needs attention
While attacking additions may be more exciting, there is also a strong argument for Wolves to prioritise the centre-back position.
Brayan Medina is one name to have emerged as a potential target. Wolves have reportedly enquired about the Colombian defender, who currently plays for Tondela.
At 24, Medina would fit a different profile to the likes of Trippier and Jiménez, potentially offering Wolves a younger option as they look to build for both the immediate future and beyond.
Especially if Santiago Bueno or Ladislav Krejčí decide to leave, the Colombian would certainly be a welcome addition.
There is also a tactical argument for strengthening at the back. Wolves need to be capable of controlling games in the Championship rather than simply relying on their attacking quality to get them through difficult moments.
A new centre-back like Medina could therefore be just as important as another attacking signing.
With the deadline looming, Wolves will be a lot more confident if they can get these players through the door before the transfer window shuts.
