NFL betting tips: Buffalo Bills to hand Kansas City Chiefs first loss, Philadelphia Eagles to soar

Still basking in the afterglow of last week’s risky-but-successful Baltimore Ravens pick, it is time to focus up and look ahead to some mouth-watering action in gameweek 11.

Besides that Ravens win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the last round also saw the Chiefs come out on top yet again, making it unbeaten almost two-thirds of the way through the season.

With the play-offs looming, top teams are starting to calculate their odds of success while struggling sides will be weighing up some last-ditch efforts to save a wretched campaign.

Once again, Sports News Blitz betting tipster Sam Condy has scoured Sky Bet for the top picks ahead of the weekend.

Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles currently occupy top spot in the NFC East standings on a five-game winning streak and fresh off a crushing victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Running back Saquon Barkley has been instrumental in his side's success so far, ranking second in the NFL in rushing yards and with six touchdowns to his name.

The Commanders have also looked solid this season, sitting at a respectable 7-3 through the opening ten.

Despite the occasional inconsistency, however, the Eagles' overall dominance this term makes it impossible to bet against the Philadelphia outfit.

Suggested bet: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5) @ 5/6

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs

The undefeated Chiefs enter Week 11 as underdogs in taking on the Bills at home.

Yet to face a loss this season, it has not been smooth sailing for the reigning Super Bowl champs as they have faced close match after close match, managing to come out on top in several fourth-quarter coin flips.

Last week, the Chiefs once again scraped a win after going into the final stanza even on points with the middling Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On the other hand, although the Bills have lost twice this season, their winning record has been accumulated in a far more dominant fashion. On Sunday, it looks like the Chiefs could finally suffer their first loss of the season.

Suggested bet: Buffalo Bills @ 4/6

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets

This matchup sees two teams with losing records battle to stay within an outside chance of making the play-offs.

The Jets have had a disastrous start to the season after firing head coach Robert Saleh. Their defence ranks dead last in Expected Points Allowed (EPA) per play and a lowly 30th in both opponent rush EPA and opponent rush success rate.

Facing a Colts side with an on-form Jonathan Taylor at running back, it is looking like the Jets may slide even further down the rankings this week.

Suggested bet: Indianapolis Colts (-3.5) @ 11/4

Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys

Currently 3-6, the Cowboys’ season looks almost unsavable at this point after they experienced their worst defeat of the campaign last time out in a blowout loss to the Eagles.

After an unlucky loss to the Detroit Lions last week, the Texans are on their own four-game losing streak. Despite somehow holding onto a winning record, they have shown time and time again that they struggle to see games out.

As a result, it is tough to pick between the two sides. With the Cowboys' offence abysmal as of late and the Texans' knack for finding themselves in low-scoring affairs, an under-pick looks to be the smart choice.

Suggested bet: Under points (42.5) @ 5/6

An accumulator looks shaky this week, with it 50/50 in the Chiefs-Bills showdown and similarly poised in the Colts-Jets game. Nevertheless, here are the four-fold odds.

Accumulator odds: 20.01/1
