Premier League betting tips: Mohamed Salah tipped to stay at Liverpool despite Saudi Pro League interest
Arne Slot could be set to lose three of his star players in the summer as contracts for Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk all run out in June.
The Dutchman’s first season in charge of Liverpool has gone to plan so far - as they currently lead the way at the top of the Premier League by seven points - whilst also progressing in the Champions League and reaching the Carabao Cup final.
Salah has been at the heart of the Reds’ success once again, scoring 28 goals and assisting 19 times in 36 games across all competitions.
However, the Egyptian has indicated that this could be his final year with the Merseyside club, as he states no contract extension has been offered to him as of late.
With just over four months until his current deal expires, Transfer News Blitz’s Deputy Content Editor Harry Whitfield explores the possible destinations for Salah that you can take a punt on.
Stay at Liverpool
During his eight years with the club, Salah has won the Premier League and the Champions League whilst ranking fourth - soon to be third - on the Reds’ all-time goalscorers list.
Despite doubts over his future with Liverpool, the 32-year-old has performed better than ever as he seeks more success in what could be his swansong for the club.
However, the bookies believe Liverpool will be tempted to offer whatever it takes to convince Salah to remain at the club.
Although a new deal could end up costing over £78million, and if the rumours of Salah requesting a three-year deal for £500,000 a week are believed to be true, it could end up being cheaper than trying to replace a player of Salah’s ability.

Any Saudi Arabian team
At the start of the 2023/24 season, Liverpool fended off interest from Al-Ittihad as the Saudi Arabian side reportedly bid over £150million for the services of the former Chelsea forward.
Reports this season suggest Saudi Pro League clubs are interested yet again, as they try to lure the African star to the league by offering the Premier League top goalscorer £500,000 per week.
The bookies feel, however, that Salah is less likely to swap England for the Middle East at the end of the season.
It could be worth a cheeky bet though, as all signs point towards an emotional farewell as rarely have FSG decided to offer any player that amount of money.
