Victor Osimhen is once again a name dominating the summer transfer conversation, with both Arsenal and Manchester United reportedly monitoring the striker’s situation.

The Nigerian forward has been in outstanding form for Galatasaray this season, scoring 18 goals and providing six assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

His performances in both the Turkish league and the UEFA Champions League have once again attracted the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Osimhen’s name firmly back on the radar, writes Transfer News Blitz‘s Tyler Cooke.

Arsenal are believed to be one of the clubs most interested in the striker, with manager Mikel Arteta reportedly viewing him as the “final piece of the puzzle” in the club’s pursuit of the Premier League title.

The Gunners signed Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres last summer, but after a difficult start to life at the Emirates, Arsenal are thought to be exploring other options to strengthen their attacking line.

Manchester United are also firmly in the race. The Old Trafford hierarchy are said to be considering a move as they search for a proven goalscorer following mixed returns from recent striker signings.

Reports suggest Osimhen’s name has once again surfaced in the club’s recruitment discussions, with the Nigerian forward viewed as a more reliable option to lead the line.

Osimhen won’t come cheap

However, any potential deal could prove complicated.

Galatasaray are determined to keep hold of their star forward and are expected to demand a fee in the region of £110million for the striker.

With several European giants also keeping tabs on Osimhen – including Bayern Munich – Arsenal and Manchester United could face fierce competition to secure one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards.

Whether either Premier League side will be willing to meet such a hefty price tag remains a key question, particularly as both clubs already have established options in attack.

With Arsenal eager to win silverware under Arteta and Manchester United determined to return to the top of the Premier League, big bids could still arrive for Osimhen when the summer transfer window opens.

And with both clubs having shown a willingness to spend heavily in recent years, Galatasaray may find it difficult to turn down the right offer.

For now, Osimhen remains focused on his campaign in Turkey.

But with interest from England continuing to grow, this summer could finally see the Nigerian striker make his long-anticipated move to the Premier League.
