ONE FOR THE FUTURE
Many may be unaware of Wilson, but followers of Scottish football will know all about his talents.
He made his debut for Scotland in a UEFA National League play-off match against Greece at 18 years and 17 days old.
With this appearance, he became the youngest man ever to feature for Scotland’s national team.
Wilson has set more records: he is the youngest goalscorer in UEFA Conference League history.
He is also the youngest goalscorer for Hearts in a European match.
In the 2024/25 season, Wilson had a brilliant conversion rate of 50%, scoring four of his eight shots.
This shows he has the natural instinct for when and where to get his shots off.
ONE-UP OVER RIVALS
Throughout deadline day, it had been widely reported that Wilson was on his way to the other side of north London.
Arsenal were hoping that they could bring him in on a trial period, with strong performances seeing them potentially make the move permanent in the summer.
Spurs, however, have offered up a better proposal.
According to reports, he’d be joining the club on a loan with an option to buy.
The aim is for him to be involved with the U21 setup this season.
