Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers has responded to growing speculation linking him with a summer move to Arsenal.
The 23-year-old enjoyed another impressive season under Unai Emery and has emerged as one of the most sought-after attacking players in the Premier League.
His performances for Villa and England have led to reports that several top clubs are monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are believed to be among the clubs showing the strongest interest. Reports in recent weeks have suggested that Mikel Arteta views Rogers as a player capable of adding creativity, versatility and goals to his attacking options.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest as they look to strengthen their squads.
However, Rogers has played down the transfer rumours, insisting that much of the speculation surrounding his future is simply part of modern football.
Speaking on the Rest is Football podcast, the England international said, “You are in an uncomfortable spot of not realising that people have so much interest in you and you’re not quite realising it but, as you get older and you are getting experience along the way, you know that comes with it and that 95 percent of it is just noise.
“You hear it of course you do, you can’t help not. You know it is there but you have got to use it as a positive way. You just try and get on with your game and just focus.”

Focus remains on England and Aston Villa
Rogers’ comments are likely to disappoint Arsenal supporters hoping for a clear indication that he could be open to a move.
Instead, the England international appeared determined to avoid discussing potential transfers and stressed that his attention is currently on international duty.
His stance also reflects Aston Villa‘s position. Reports have suggested that Villa are reluctant to sell one of their most important players, despite increasing interest from rival clubs.
The Midlands side view Rogers as a key part of Emery’s long-term project and are under no pressure to cash in.
The situation is further strengthened by the fact that Rogers signed a long-term contract extension with Villa until 2031, giving the club significant control over his future.
While Arsenal continue to be linked with the attacker, any potential deal would likely require a substantial transfer fee.
Whether Arsenal return with a formal approach remains to be seen, but securing Rogers would be one of the toughest deals of the window.
