Arsenal news: Out-of-contract Thomas Partey attracting interest from Champions League clubs
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is set to leave the club in the summer, as the 31-year-old’s contract expires in June.
According to journalist Charles Watts, the Gunners are yet to open discussions about a new deal with the Ghana international.
Partey moved to North London in a £45million deadline day move from LaLiga outfit Atlético Madrid in 2020.

Mikel Arteta ready to overhaul Arsenal's midfield
The Ghanaian is not the only midfielder out of contract at the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Italian playmaker Jorginho is also expected to leave the club at the end of his contract in June, with the 33-year-old set to join Brazilian giants Flamengo on a free transfer.
The North Londoners have been linked with a host of central midfielders, with the club reportedly close to agreeing on a deal to sign Real Sociedad’s Martín Zubimendi.
Bayern Munich veteran Joshua Kimmich has also been linked with a free transfer to the Gunners in the summer, whilst Arsenal are also still in the race to sign highly rated youngster Sverre Nypan from Norweigan outfit Rosenborg.
It is clear that Mikel Arteta is looking to freshen up his midfield next season, so it would be no surprise if the Spaniard replaces Partey and Jorginho with younger, fitter players.
Champions League interest
LaLiga titans Barcelona are said to be the frontrunner for Partey’s signature in the summer - if the midfielder is to leave Arsenal.
Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly also keen on a move for the Ghanaian, however, it is said that Partey would favour a move back to Spain.
Saudi Pro League clubs have also shown an interest in Partey, but the midfielder wants to continue playing his football in Europe.
